When to change oil
Regular oil changes extend engine life and reduce the risk of expensive repairs.
- Mileage since previous replacement — 10,000–15,000 km
- A year has passed since maintenance
- Gears shift with jerks
- The car is frequently operated in the city or in winter
Oil Change in Tallinn
Regular oil changes extend engine life and lower the risk of costly repairs. Our auto workshop provides professional engine oil and oil filter changes for petrol, diesel, and hybrid cars.
Oil change pricing varies according to engine displacement, oil type, and filter selection. Exact rates are calculated once materials are chosen.
We use oils and filters meeting official manufacturer approvals.
What an Oil Change Includes
- Draining old engine oil;
- Refilling with fresh engine oil;
- Oil filter replacement;
- Checking oil level;
- Inspecting drain plug and seals;
- Proper disposal of used oil.
Oil Change Intervals
Recommended replacement schedules:
- Every 10,000–15,000 km;
- At least once per year;
- More frequently under city traffic, severe cold, or heavy idle conditions.
Turbocharged engines require shortened service intervals.
Why Timely Oil Changes Matter
Aged oil loses lubricating properties, exposing engine parts to wear. Delayed oil changes can lead to:
- Engine overheating;
- Increased fuel consumption;
- Internal engine sludge;
- Reduced turbocharger lifespan;
- Expensive engine repairs.
Oil Filter Replacement
The oil filter must be changed with every oil service. A clogged filter restricts oil circulation and degrades engine output.
Transmission Fluid Change
We also perform fluid replacements for:
- Automatic transmissions;
- Manual gearboxes;
- Differentials and transfer cases.
Transmission fluid replacement intervals depend on gearbox design and driving habits.
Time to Service Your Automatic Transmission
Over time, wear products gather inside automatic transmissions, contaminating fluid. Fluid loses protective qualities, causing jerky gear changes, higher component stress, and thermal buildup that cuts gearbox lifespan. We can fix these issues.
Full Automatic Transmission Fluid Flush
Full dynamic or machine fluid replacement flushes out all old fluid (ATF)—a result unattainable via conventional drain-and-fill methods!
Full fluid replacement uses roughly double the fluid capacity compared to standard partial service, as manual drains leave half the old fluid inside.
Partial Automatic Transmission Fluid Change
For high-mileage cars with darkened, dirty ATF, we recommend a partial fluid refresh. Flushing machines can dislodge heavy sediment, clogging filters, valve bodies, and solenoids.
In these cases, multi-stage renewal drains ~40% of old ATF and refills with new fluid. After driving ~500 km, the procedure is repeated.
Selecting ATF and Transmission Components
Every ATF service should include a new filter and oil pan cleaning. Required items usually include matching ATF fluid, pan gasket, filter with O-ring, and drain plug gasket.
At Pinna Auto, we professionally select and install all related components.
Full Dynamic Oil Change Benefits:
Complete work rather than partial
Full-flow fluid replacement is performed using specialized equipment, flushing compounds, and manufacturer-recommended oils.
Helps achieve the following
- Remove contaminants from the transmission;
- Restore smooth gear shifts;
- Normalize torque converter lockup operation;
- Maintain gearbox seal integrity;
- Ensure proper solenoid valve performance.
Reliability and quality
The procedure takes substantial time. The automatic transmission connects to dedicated machinery circulating flushing and lubricating fluids.
